CODITE (Council of Deans for IT Education) in partnership with the ICT@Bicol Council through the NICP/CEDF-IT brings to Bicol the EMC Academic Alliance Program, a unique "open" curriculum-based education on technology applicable to any vendor environment, enabling students to develop highly competitive knowledge and skills in the evolving global IT industry.
The EMC Academic Alliance has spread to over 80 countries, and has partnered with more than 2,000 universities worldwide. The over-arching objective of this target partnership is "evangelizing prevalent, evolving technologies towards developing globally competitive IT professionals for the future.”
OBJECTIVES
1. We are sharing this opportunity to our Bicolano IT professionals, in the Academia : educators and learners; after successfully running this in Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. 2. We hope to further enhance our level of IT trainings to the level of the more advanced cities mentioned above, and internationally in order to provide opportunity for other teachers and students to acquire international accreditations. 3. We want to contribute to the national target of developing a globally competitive pool of IT professionals that are highly hireable in the evolving IT industry. 4. We provide an opportunity for COLLABORATION, PARTNERSHIPS and INTEGRATION.
